We drove along the 'Forgotten Coast' of Florida. Our stop today was to see the USS Alabama. It was quite the tour (2 hours) where we got to see all of the ship that housed 2500 men during WWII. It was so cold that we were just about the only ones there! They also have open for viewing the submarine 'Drum' which also saw action in WWII.
The rest of the drive was primarily seeing the Gulf beaches and small resort towns. Arrived at home on 1/9/10...pooped!
